Your Oral Surgeon

Dr. David Schwitzer

Dr. Schwitzer trained as both a dentist and a physician and is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After earning his DDS and MD, he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, then a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery. That path prepared him for everything from a routine extraction to a complex reconstruction, and he brings the same care to both.

A first visit starts with why you came in and what you want out of it, including anything that has gone badly for you in a dental chair before. From there, we review your full medical history and imaging, explain the diagnosis, and talk through your options together so you have a say in the final plan.
